After a five month renovation, the ‘Norsu Home’, as it is affectionately referred to, is a striking extension of the trademark Norsu brand. The design of the entire home is grounded in a palette of white, grey and timber, accented with blush pink and metallics. Strong textures come together to create a warm and welcoming vibe, from velvet and leather to concrete and stone. A perfectly curated assortment of plants, artwork and decorative ornaments add a unique and personal feel to the spaces, providing depth and layers to the home that are special, specifically chosen and one of a kind. Daniel points out his favourite piece: an eye catching Kerry Armstrong artwork, taking pride of place in the hallway.
‘We love the period nature of our home combined with the simplistic Scandi inspired theme inside. I don’t think my wife would let me have it any other way,’ says Daniel.
Every detail has been expertly planned to perfection. White and soft grey walls coupled with high ceilings accentuate the feeling of space. In the open plan living area, glass sliding doors allow plenty of natural light to stream through, while simultaneously creating a seamless connection to the outdoor zone. Boasting an abundance of room for their two children as well as for alfresco dining in the summer months, the generous backyard is framed by attractively landscaped gardens.
Boasting immense street presence, the façade of the home is timeless, respectfully transformed with contemporary appeal.
‘It’s a little clichéd, but I’m always very proud to drive in the driveway,’ says Daniel.
Having lived in the area for many years, Daniel finds the family friendly environs to be an enormous drawcard.
